Small business optimism inches for second month in a row, but

Group, the membership of their sentiment surveys each month, said the overall optimism up 1.8 points in December, for a total of 58.3 points. The index measures the aspects such as small business owners

NFIB Chief Economist Bill Dunkelberg wrote in the release that many small business owners have increased hopes for a real advantage sales in the coming months. He added that the economy seems to be slowly recovering, as evidenced by the start of housing and other measures.

But in early 2011, similar gains in the index give way to a decrease in the spring, which means feeling good small business owners have now not necessarily here to stay.
