Chadds Ford-based Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. said it would be a short-term supply problems for the Opana ER pain pills and possibly other drugs. The cause is the closure of a factory run by Novartis Consumer Health at Lincoln, Neb. while among problems exist, Food and Drug Administration says, over-the-counter Novartis pills may have found their way into the prescription drug packages sold by Endo. Novartis said on Sunday it is considering products such as Excedrin, Bufferin NoDoz, and.
